Els Moors, ur. w 1976 roku, mieszka i pracuje w Brukseli. Jej pierwszy tom poetycki Wisi nad nami wysokie niebo (Er hangt een hoge lucht boven ons, 2006) spotkał się z entuzjastycznym przyjęciem i otrzymał nagrodę im. Hermana de Conincka za najlepszy debiut. Moors opublikowała też powieść Tęsknota za wyspą (Het verlangen naar een eiland, 2008) i zbiór opowiadań Czas lotu (Vliegtijd, 2010). W 2013 roku ukazał się jej kolejny tom wierszy Pieśni przewracającego się konia (Liederen van een kapseizend paard), który został w 2015 roku wyróżniony nagrodą im. J.C. Bloema oraz nagrodą literacką prowincji Zachodnia Flandria. Od 2018 do 2020 roku pełniła prestiżową funkcję Poety Ojczyzny (Dichter des Vaderlands).

Els Moors, born in 1976, lives and works in Brussels. Her debut Er hangt een hoge lucht boven ons (There is a tall sky above us, 2006) was well received and awarded the prestigious Herman de Coninck Prize for best poetry debut. In 2013, she published her second collection of poetry Liederen van een kapseizend paard (Songs of a capsizing horse), which was awarded the J.C. Bloem prize and the West-Flanders Province Literature Prize. Since 2018 to 2020, she has held the title of National Poet (Dichter des Vaderlands).

Jerzy Koch, kierownik Zakładu Studiów Niderlandzkich i Południowoafrykańskich na Wydziale Anglistyki UAM i redaktor naczelny czasopisma „Werkwinkel. Journal of Low Countries and South African Studies”. Wykłada literaturę niderlandzką i południowoafrykańską, w badaniach zajmuje się tłumaczeniami literackimi, transferem kulturowym i historiografią literacką. Laureat nagrody im. M. Nijhoffa za całokształt dorobku tłumaczeniowego.

Jerzy Koch, head of the Department of Dutch and South African Studies at the Faculty of English Studies at The Adam Mickiewicz University and editor-in-chief of the "Werkwinkel. Journal of the Low Countries and South African Studies." He teaches Dutch and South African literature; in his research, he concentrates on literary translations, cultural transfer and literary historiography. Winner of the Nijhoff Translation Prize.
